| WoW its been a LONG time since i updated... umm whats new in my life...lets see here.
My parents have decided on selling the house, so our house is currently up for sale. It;s kinda sad that they want to move only becuase I've spent a great deal of my life living here. But I'm happy for my parents bc I know theyve been wanting a bigger house for quite some time. So keep that in your prayers. My mom wants to move out ASAP.
Brian and I are still great! I love him SOOO much. The Lord truly blessed us. He recently got baptized and I am SOOOO proud of him. We are going on 6 months and things coudlnt get any better! We are going to Chicago at the end of this month for a couple days. That should be really fun! I can't wait!
I'm starting to feel like I'm apart of Brians family now. His mom's side of the family are so nice to me. His grandma and grandpa treat me as if they were my grandparents, which is really nice bc the closest grandparents i have is my grandma and shes in Korea. So its nice to have that feeling again. Though they can never replace my grandparents its still a nice feeling to have. His grandma on his dads side of the family celebrated her 80th Birthday today. When it came to take picture of her and the grankids she looked at me and told me to join in but I didnt. It was a nice gesture but it was for her family. But the thought was still really sweet. Brians parents are sooo nice to me as well. When I go to his house they treat me like family and i feel like I'm at home. I love Brians family sooo much! And I thank them for making me feel apart of the family.
All in all life has been great. There has been ups and downs but you only grow closer to God when you go through trials.
| So thanksgiving was awesome. I got to spend time with the people I love the most ( my family, Kelsey, and Brian).
Brian came over for Thanksgiving dinner and met the rest of the family. All went well I must say. Kelsey came over for dessert and after we went to go see Harry Potter. And that's where things get a lil funny, not all of it is funny haha, well it might not even be funny haha to most but I dont know I found some humor in it.
So after the movie was over, which by the way Harry Potter was sooo good everyone must see it, we were on our way home after we dropped off one of kelseys friends at his house. So the carwas making the noise and we thought it was just something in her car being stupid bc it tends to make noises sometimes. Well like not even a min after we got on the express way the tire like came off her car. The rim was still on it which was a good thing but the rubber part of the car was gone flew somewhere who knows where really. So I was going ot put the donut on the car but Kels and Brian REFUSE to let me do so. So we waited for my dad to come save us, and Kelseys friend Jordan came to save us too. Keep in mind that we are like 30 mins from my house. Well, we waited for about a good hour or more before anyone came but in a way it was good bonding time in the car. So that like a perk about it all. The funny part to me was watching Brian try to take the donut out of the trunk. Kelseys trunk doesnt like to open so he had to pull down he back seats and get the donut and I dont know why but I found that funny...if anyone has ever taken a donut from the trunk you might see why I thought it was funny... that or I have a wierd sense of humor one of the two. But finally we got the donut put back on and went home. By the time I got to sleep it was oh about 2 in the morning and Brian and I woke up at like 530 this morning to go shopping.
So all in all it was a crazy yet good night, and a loooonnnngggg day! But I'm glad that everyone is okay and that all is well with her car now. :) And most of all I'm glad that I got to spend some time with Kelsey because I havent seen her in a while. Granted that it was wierd circumstances and all but all worked out and God was still with us and never left us. So I would have to say that this thanksgiving is one that I will never forget!
Kels youre the poo! I love ya, and it was nice hanging out with you again!!!
| Yeah so I'm really not good at this whole update thing. LoL. But I'll give it a try...
My boyfriend and I have been togather for three months now...well a lil over three months. He's an amazing guy! I've seen God's work through our relationship soo much. In the course of three months he has accepted Christ, and just yesterday made a public annoucment of his faith. The next step is baptism, but it's on his own time and will so I'm not trying to force him either way. I've just been praying about him a lot. Walking on the right path is not always easy, especially for a new christian bc satan tend to throw a lot of stuff at you durning that time. So keep Brian in all of your prayers.
My aunts wedding is coming up. I'm very excited and happy for her! She looks sooo amazing in her wedding dress. I can't wait till the wedding! Even though I really dont want to be in any of the pictures but I know theres going to be a lot bc Im one of the bridesmaids...fun! LoL. But I'll suck it up just for her. LoL.
Thanksgiving is coming up soon...so I just waned to say what I'm thankful for now (bc i prolly will forget to update by then).
First off I'm thankful to God. He has worked thru many trials in my life for soo long. And he has always been the compassionate father when I've been the stuborn child. Gods work has been many in my life so I thank God for everything He has done.
Scondly, I'm thankful that I get to spend this thanksgiving with my father. As some of you know my dad was in Iraq last year and I didnt get to spend it with him. But it goes a lil deeper than that. Im truly thankful that my dad made it home safe. He does have a prolem with his hearing and neck problems bc of things over there, but he's home...and that's all that matters to me. I'm lad God was with him the whole time he was over in Iraq.
Thirdly, I'm thankful for Brian. He's been the best boyfriend even tho at times I make it unbearable for him. I'm glad God put him in my life. I've been praying for a good man to ome in my life for a long time and when i least expected it, there Brian came...I was talking with Michelle (shes like another mother to me) and she said that she was praying for a guy like Brian to come in my life. I'm glad that a lot of prayers went up for that bc Brian makes me soo happy. And I love him soo much.
| So I guess it's about time for another update huh. Hmm where to start?
Well this past weekend I went to a retreat called Bambi and it was AWESOME! We learned a lot about relationship, realtionships with freinds family your bf or gf, and the most important realtionship with God! It was unbelievable. And what makes it oh soo much better is that my bf Brian and I had a talk about salvation. I mean I knew he believed in God, but I asked him if he were to die today this very second where would be go. He answered with heaven I hope. Well the I hope part wasnt good enough, and it really scared me. So we talked more, cried some and by the end of the day he accepted Christ in his heart for a GARENTEE ticket to heaven. It was just awesome! And nothing beats seeing someone you love ACCEPT that ticket to heaven. So yeah, my weekend was great!
And as you can tell my relationship with my boyfriend is going GREAT as well. Never been happier! And we're celebrating our two months on Thursday. So yeah.. I'm blessed. And as long as God is in the middle if our relationship that I will continue to be blessed with him in my life. God is awesome!
Other than that, nothing else has really happened lately. But Kels is coming back to town this week so I'm excited about that!! WooT WooT Can't wait to see you Kels!
| So the question is this... should I miss a week of school and go down south to help out the Hurrican Katrina Relief?? There's a volunteer group starting at my church and I feel like i wanna go but I dunno if I can miss that much class...GRR to class! | | |
